03 Jan 3 Social Media Marketing Habits To Pick Up in 2019
Happy New Year from the Ninja and Germono Advertising Company! Its the 3rd of January – Have you decided on your New Year’s resolutions yet? You probably have a couple personal ones floating around, but have you thought about making some promises to yourself for your business? Now’s your opportunity to brain storm! What could you do differently this year to grow your business’s social media presence? Here are three habits to pick up starting NOW!
- Don’t be afraid to experiment. – Experiment with everything! If you haven’t yet, take a look at your analytics from 2018. Pull the reports from all your social media platforms. Which type of posts did well? Were there some that just flopped? How can you use the posts that excelled and take them to the next level? Don’t be afraid to experiment with different apps and ideas. Some of my favorite apps to use for that extra wow factor? Pixaloop, Hyperlapse, Glitter-Sparkle, and Canva. After you’ve experimented with a few different ideas, go back and look at those analytics! You might be surprised.
- Don’t sleep on your content. – Whether you have 100 followers or 10,000 followers, your audience is always waiting! Get in the rhythm of posting on your platforms at least 3 to 4 times a week. Don’t always assume that someone has seen your picture or post from last Monday.
- Attend social media education workshops. – Social media is an ever growing tool. It used to be a place for individuals to connect with their friends and family. Now, social media is a gold mine for businesses like yours! There are always new features, applications, websites, and tools to use. Don’t assume you know EVERYTHING about Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.. Just as you would continue your education on your profession, continue to attend social media workshops. Whether it be online or in person – if you can take away just ONE thing from each webinar or workshop, that’s ONE more advantage you have!
