Welcome to 2020! New year, new decade, new content.
By mid-January, you should have the previous year’s content reviewed. Once you know what your audience likes to interact with and what doesn’t work, it’s time to adjust. According to the latest Global Webindex report, 60% of all internet users are social video viewers, and that number is only rising! It is projected that 82% of all online content will be video by 2022. Needless to say, if you are not using video in your social media marketing, 2020 is the year to start. Social video marketing can have varying uses from education to entertainment. With so many creative options such as live streaming and stories, there is no reason NOT to jump on this ever growing trend.
As you look towards the future, don’t forget the basics. Social media was designed to be social. Your followers want to feel connected and have genuine interactions with you. A fun way to interact from behind the screen is to incorporate interactive features into your content. This could be a poll, a live video, 360 images, or AI (augmented reality). There are plenty of features you can discuss using more of in your creative session.
